Writing Challenge
In celebration of our 25th anniversary, we are pleased to announce that the Citizens Hall of Fame will be putting on a writing challenge in the schools of Winnipeg. Please check here for details.
The Citizens Hall of Fame was founded and inspired by members of the WinnipegREALTORS® Association in 1986. Initially the WinnipegREALTORS® Association wanted to host an event that would recognize outstanding individual contributions to the City of Winnipeg. It soon became evident that there was no lack of dinners, banquets, and other events honouring Winnipeg citizens for extraordinary achievements. Such recognition, however, was a fleeting testament to individual effort. The lack of permanent and public facility to honour outstanding Winnipeggers led to the creation of the concept of the Citizens Hall of Fame.
38 Inductees who have made outstanding contributions to Winnipeg's quality of life and help build the city we love.
